If there's one Golden Street that will do well on your Instagram or Facebook account, it's Warmoesstraat. Cobblestones, stepped gables and a centuries-old courtyard combine effortlessly with beautiful boutiques and stylish stores. Even the French fry store here is in style. The Warmoesstraat is named after a forgotten vegetable, the chard or warmoes. This street is known as one of the most beautiful streets in Haarlem because of its characteristic stores, eateries and stunning views of the Grote or St. Bavokerk. The paving stones in front of the various buildings show what kind of store used to be in the premises.
