Culinary
Say Haarlem, you say culinary. From
fancy dining to a quick bite in one of
the many (food) cafes. Or plop down in a
hip coffee bar, tasting room or brewery.
enjoy, every day
Whether it's Monday, Wednesday or Saturday: Haarlem's bars and restaurants are always lively. Most cafes and restaurants can be found around the Grote Markt, on the Oude Groenmarkt, the Klokhuisplein and the Riviervismarkt. Also be sure to walk through Lange Veerstraat and Warmoesstraat if you are hungry.
Also, atmospheric terraces abound in Haarlem, such as along the Spaarne and at windmill De Adriaan where, when the weather is nice, you'll see one boat after another sail by. Another option: move to the Vijfhoek, the "Jordaan" of Haarlem, and dive into a cozy café.
The gastronomic capital
Where are you eating tonight?

In the summer you can relax at the city beach on the Spaarne. Or go to the Veerplas, Haarlem's outdoor spot. Fifteen minutes by bike from the Grote Markt. Here you can swim when the weather is nice, but also have a snack and a drink.Â
