Do you love strolling around the market? Then you are in the right place, because Haarlem has many nice markets. We have listed them for you.




Market at the Grand Place

Not to be missed in the center of Haarlem: the Grote Markt! The Grote Markt is a historic square that hosts a market full of fine stalls on Saturdays. Some of the stalls are in the Grote Houtstraat and the Spekstraat. From 08.30 to 17.00 every week you can find beautiful flowers, cheese, cakes, bread, nuts, delicacies, fresh fruit and vegetables and many other fine and fresh products. Non-food products, such as bags and clothing are also for sale at the market.

On Mondays there is also a market in the Grote Markt in a smaller form. Then there are stalls from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.




The Butter Market

The Botermarkt in Haarlem is a cozy market in the city center. Regularly there are market stalls on the Botermarkt. So also on Wednesday afternoon. This allows you to visit the market with children who are free from school. On Monday, Wednesday and Saturday you can go there for all kinds of different products. On Fridays the market is full of fine stalls with a complete organic assortment.

Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.




Flores Street

The Floresstraat in Haarlem-North hosts a cozy market full of goodies and fun every Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. With over 60 stalls, there is a wide variety of market products for sale. Fabrics and trimmings, plants and flowers, sweets, fish, clothes for big and small and other fun items.




Schalkwijk shopping center

Do you live in Haarlem Schalkwijk? Every Tuesday the market vendors are ready for you at the market at Shopping Center Schalkwijk. The market consists of several stalls, spread across the shopping center. You can come here from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for daily and weekly shopping.




Friday market Summer Quay

Another nice little market: the one in the Amsterdam neighborhood. The market on the Zomerkade has been known for years as a cozy little market. The market is every Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and you can find your weekly essentials like fresh fish, vegetables, fruits and more. There are also stalls selling organic products. The market is on the section between the Nagtzaam Bridge and Hofdijkstraat until Drilsmaplein.




Antique market on the Dreef

Do you love antiques and browsing among vintage stuff? Then the antique market on the Dreef, near Wood Square, is for you!

Biomarket Haarlemmer Kweektuin

At the Biomarket in the Haarlemmer Kweektuin in Haarlem-North is the place to go for sustainable, organic, natural and local products. It is an atmospheric market where you can do your Saturday shopping. You will find stalls with organic bread, pastries, cheese, eggs, vegetables, fruit, and wine, among other things. But you can also go here for clothing and personal care products, for example. By buying directly from the producers at the market, you support local entrepreneurs and contribute to a sustainable and fair economy. The market is held every first Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
