Museum Haarlem

Museum Haarlem has a beautiful permanent exhibition about the rich and eventful history of Haarlem: All Haarlemmers.

Experience 1000 years of the city's history and meet special Haarlem residents. Discover how the inhabitants of the Spaarne cared for, fought, mourned, worked, played sports, believed, made love and partied. Meet Haarlemmers from the past and present, from world famous to ordinary. And see the city through their eyes.

In addition, there are regularly changing exhibitions about typical Haarlem subjects and local or regional artists.

In the Gasthuis, museum shop and museum café, you will find various publications on local historical matters in addition to beautiful products by Haarlem artists. Historical (city) walks are regularly organized during changing exhibitions that lead you through the beautiful center of Haarlem and offer more depth. As the only museum in Haarlem, Museum Haarlem is also open on Mondays, because city history continues every day and must be accessible.

Children can go on a treasure hunt with the Haarlem Mug through the exhibition All Haarlemmers. For children's workshops, check out the museum's website.

Museum Haarlem is a must for anyone who wants to know and see more of Haarlem.
